At a seminar about 50 years of ‘Peacewalls’ at Belfast Exposed, a member of the audience challenges the representative of the Department of Justice for ongoing cosmetic and decorative work on the ‘peacewalls’, suggesting it was akin to ‘putting lipstick on a Gorilla’.
